Community Engagement
Our members are committed to promoting climate and health equity throughout Mississippi through educational initiatives, providing resources, facilitating ongoing dialogues within the local communities.
Our goal is to empower and educate individuals, families, and community leaders on the vital connection between climate, health, and equity.
 Our members, Kenneth V. Smith & Gerri A. Cannon-Smith, had a great time with the Eta Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc Renaissance Scholars highlighting climate health impacts, brainstorming interventions, and repotting some beautiful plants! Under their Enhancing Our Environment initiative, they have been involved in recycling, composting, and beautification projects.
